This gallery is just a few of my favorite places in the United States.

I have to start with Maine. It's my home state and I think its coastline is unmatched in beauty. I highly recommend trips to the Portland Head Light and Acadia National Park.

If you have never been to the American Southwest, it's time for a road trip. I love hiking in the mountains and for a number of years I have been one of the meetup organizers for the Tucson Hiking Group. I've led many hikes in the mountains surrounding Tucson.

Yosemite National Park is my favorite and I've been to many. The Mist Trail hike that goes along Vernal and Nevada Falls is one of the best hikes I've ever done and the views from anywhere in the park are breathtaking. Be sure to check out Glacier Point if you visit the park.

I've made multiple family trips to the Grand Canyon. Always awe inspiring.
